Every computer terminal at the Pentagon, classified or not, greeted its operator on Friday morning with the message titled “MURDER?”

The Sons of Liberty hear that the commander of the American task force in Afghanistan didn’t want to send out that patrol because it wasn’t trained or equipped for the task—and that there was intelligence that mines were being placed by Afghans opposed to the U.S. presence. But, we hear, he was directly ordered by a White House official to send out the patrol anyway. If so, someone at the White House may have committed murder. And the entire chain of command may be guilty of dereliction of duty.
